Demo Access is not Grok

Welcome can enroll a personal demo token with one click. No console. The token lives in the IDE password safe. It never appears as text in Settings.

The model behind Demo is a limited self-hosted brain. Shorter answers. A daily cap. No Collections, no stateful memory, no Agentic.

That is honest shop-window glass. When you paste an xAI key and Test connection, demo turns off immediately. When you want the cockpit, start the Premium trial.

If Demo felt weak, that is the point — you have not met Grok yet.
