Today: Mass first, then the saint

The Today and now section is the morning desk.

It lists the Mass of the Sunday (or the proper feria) first, then the saint of the day when there is a Class I–III feast, then the prayers you marked daily.

On a Sunday the saint does not replace the Mass. Joachim on 16 August 2026 sits under Dominica XII post Pentecosten. That is 1962 practice, not a bug.
